Astro Gold is an astrology app for iPhone and iPad that caters to professional-level astrologers. The app offers high-quality software with precise calculations and expert astrological interpretations. It includes features for Natal, Transit, Progression, and Synastry interpretations, making it convenient for astrology enthusiasts on the go. One notable feature is the ability to store chart files in iCloud Drive, allowing users to access their charts across multiple iOS devices as well as the advanced macOS version of Astro Gold.

The app boasts a clean, clear, and precise interface, utilizing the latest Swiss Ephemeris and ACS Atlas files. It provides various chart options such as casting new Natal charts, Solar Return charts, Lunar Return charts, Secondary Progressed charts, Solar Arc Directed charts, and Relationship or Composite charts. Users can save and open charts from file either on their local device or iCloud Drive.

For users of the Solar Fire PC program, Astro Gold allows the exchange of chart files via email or iTunes file sharing. This compatibility offers seamless integration between the two platforms.

In terms of display, the app offers zooming and panning functionality to view high-resolution wheels and grids. Users can choose between single chart wheels, bi-wheels, or tri-wheels. Other display options include an aspect grid with longitude and declination aspects, synastry grids, basic chart details report, essential dignities report, chart aspects report (sorted by planet or orb), and interpretations reports.

The transit feature provides customizable options such as time span, transiting planets and radix planets, aspects, enter/leave orb events, planetary stations, house ingresses, and sign ingresses. Users can also opt to purchase professional reports in PDF format for Birth Reports, Predictive Reports (One Year), Relationship Reports, Child Reports (Natal), Birthday Reports (Solar Return), and Pet Reports.

As for the settings, users can choose from 42 available chart points to display and set aspect orbs. Wheel display options include planet colors, sign colors, wheel styles, proportional houses, and aspect lines and glyphs. Chart calculation options encompass various zodiac types (tropical or 7 different sidereal zodiacs), house systems, lunar node type, part of fortune type, lunar parallax correction, black moon type, angle progressions type, and home location for transits charts.

Additionally, Astro Gold utilizes the full ACS Atlas with over 250,000 locations worldwide and comprehensive world timezone history. The app relies on the Swiss Ephemeris for accurate astronomical calculations, covering a range from 1200 BC to 2400 AD.

On iOS devices, users can conveniently access specific features by invoking the menu on the app icon. This allows users to cast a new chart, view the current transits chart wheel, or access basic chart details report.
